JoAnne Barron has always had a heart, a love for the elderly. She believes in a truly holistic approach to life, treating the whole person, not just the symptoms of the disease. She has found that her love and respect for the elderly, along with her education and experience, make her the ideal, unique person for working with seniors.
JoAnne has helped hundreds of seniors throughout life's transitions. She has her Master of Science in Health Administration, MSHA degree, and has her Residential Care facility for the elderly, RCFE, license. Since 2003, she has worked in most aspects of long-term care. Starting as a Certified Nurse's Aid (CNA), has worked as Director of Resident Services, Director of Adult Day programs, Executive Director/Administrator of RCFEs for the alert elderly, the memory-impaired, and, lastly, the severely mentally ill and impoverished elderly. JoAnne has worked for years as a Geriatric Care Manager in Monterey and is a certified MoCA test administrator for cognitive impairments.
.JoAnne's specialty is solving complicated problems for complex people. She enjoys personality characteristics in seniors that most people are unable to work with, ie, memory impairment and mental illness.
JoAnne has been referred to as "sunshine" since childhood to describe her positive, happy disposition. In addition to a career in traditional allopathic medicine, JoAnne has a unique background in alternative health care. She has worked with 30+ alternative modalities and alternative health care practitioners, personally and with seniors, to obtain optimal health.
JoAnne offers a consistent quality of service and has quality care managers to assist if needed.

I was impressed with JoAnne's abilities to come into patients home asses situation and see the needs of former patient of mine with dementia. JoAnne was able to put family members worries to rest by getting caregivers situated into her home, going to doctors with client, hiring maintenance people to alter home when other agencies couldn't help with complexities of her situation. We are very grateful for her help.

JoAnne Roth (Barron) has been a godsend to my sister who has many special needs. She is attentive, imaginative, compassionate, and efficient with her time. Her patience with my sometimes very challenging mentally ill sister continues to amaze me. We have hired several caretakers, organizers and house cleaners for her over the years. They drifted away fairly quickly. JoAnne stuck around. She communicates regularly with our family, keeping us well-informed. I simply don't know what we would do without her.

We are so grateful that we had JoAnne, supporting our mom when we weren’t able to be there with her. She has always been there when we needed her the most. She kept us informed daily of mom’s changes and improvements and had all things in place by the time mom returned home from the hospital.”
