JoAnne has always had a heart, a love for the elderly. She believes in a truly holistic approach for life, treating the whole person not just the symptoms of the disease. She has found that her love and respect for the elderly, along with education and experience to be an attribute that makes her the ideal, and unique person.
JoAnne has helped hundreds of seniors throughout life's transitions. She has her Masters of Science in Health Administration, MSHA degree and has her Residential Care facility for the elderly, RCFE, license. Since 2003 she has worked in most aspects of long term care,. starting as a Certified Nurses aid, CNA., has worked as Director of Resident Services, Director of Adult Day programs, Executive Director/Administrator of RCFE’s for alert elderly, memory impaired and lastly, home for the severely mentally ill, impoverished elderly. JoAnne has worked for years as a Geriatric Care Manager in Monterey and is certified administrator of MoCA test for cognitive impairments.
.JoAnne's specialty is solving complicated problems for complex people. She enjoys personality characteristics in seniors that most people are unable to work with, ie..memory impairment, mental illness and cantankerous personalities.
JoAnne has been referred to as sunshine since childhood to demonstrate her positive, happy disposition. In addition to career working with traditional, allopathic medicine, JoAnne has a unique background in alternative health care. She has worked with 30+ different alternative modalities and alternative health care practitioners personally and with seniors, in obtaining optimal health.
JoAnne offers a consistent quality of service, and has quality care managers to assist if needed.
